The gathering was super mellow. Great pot luck food, super people and a band played old surf music looking down at the group. The huge red velvet cake was becoming of this legendary surf icon.

When the band (WindanSea Slugs) started playing the theme song for Endless Summer, there was this moment of spiritual tribute to the movie (that I think we can all agree on), which is the crown jewel to all surf movies and surfing. It was an magical Endless Summer Day.
